Cozy Brown Cowrie

Cowrie shells were once one of the most important symbols of wealth and money for centuries in various parts of Africa. Cowrie shells also hold great symbolism, seen as a symbol of fertility and prosperity. They’re believed to be connected to ocean spirits and protection, some may be familiar with Oshun, an Orisha (a deity in the Yoruba culture). They are beautiful, and hold powerful meaning to the wearer.

Materials

Traditional cowrie shell along with wooden (color may slightly vary) & czech glass beads delicately wrapped in gold wire, topped off with gold-filled earwires.

Wear wear wear the rubber backs provided to avoid losing earrings.
